MetraPay can be assessed via your internet browsers and can also be downloaded on the AppStore and Google Play stores. From the comfort of your home you are able to send money to Africa through your smartphone, tablet or computer, unlike traditional money transfer services where you may have to go to a business center.
You are required to sign up by entering your name, phone number, email address and other details as a sender on the Metrapay platform and once this step is completed you are ready to send money to your family and friends.

a. Debit Card (How to transfer via Debit Card)
MetraPay accepts transfer deposits via debit cards, this methods allows you to fund your transactions directly. To use this method select the debit card option under funding options and follow the prompts, for each transaction, you will be taken to a secure checkout page where you need to enter your debit card details. If the fund withdrawal is successful we will process the transaction and notify you.
b. ACH Bank Transfer
MetraPay accepts transfer deposits via ACH Bank transfer, this methods allows you to fund your transactions directly from your checking account. To setup ACH processing with MetraPay, you link your online bank account with metrapay and for each transaction request, we verify the available balance in your account and then process an ACH transfer from your connected account. You must have sufficient available funds in your account to process ACH payments.
Conveniently send US Dollars to family and friends in Africa, which can be deposited to their bank accounts in US Dollars or Naira. We offer very competitive exchange rates compared to our competitors.
MetraPay charges a very low transfer fee compared to our competitors, we charge 1% transfer fees for sending US Dollars to US Dollars bank accounts in Nigeria while we do not charge for sending US Dollars to Naira accounts. Senders are allowed to send as low as a minimum of $5 to their friends and family.
Family and Friends receive money within minutes on both of our platforms, the Metrapay App and Metrapay.com website, Zelle transactions are completed in minutes, while eCheck may take about 24hours depending on when your bank clears the check and the days of the week. Once Metrapay receives your deposit, your transfer is immediately processed and you and the recipient will immediately receive notifications of the transaction.

MetraPay offers money transfers to only NIgeria at the moment.
MetraPay offers money transfers from the United States of America at the moment.
A processed transfer cannot be refunded, once the money is deposited into the recipient account it cannot be refunded or cancelled.
If for some reason you are not able to process your transfer, and you already made a deposit, send us an email at support@metrapay.com requesting for a refund, state what happened and attach a screenshot of your deposit.
